My Gear

Wildlife Photography

Well I just switched over to mirrorless in July of 2022 and purchased the Fuji X-H2S body along with the Vertical Battery grip.  I also plan to purchase the new Fuji 150-600 lens. Prior to this change, I was using the Nikon D500 DSLR with a Sigma 150-600 zoom lens. I sold my Nikon and Fuji XT3 cameras to finance this move which now leaves me with a single camera body. I'm hoping that it will serve as a one-stop solution for all of my photographic needs.

Most of my work to date has been in Southwestern Florida during the winter months where the subjects (mainly birds) are wonderful and approachable. I handhold the camera for most of my shots. I prefer zoom lenses as they give me plenty of versatility for just about any scene or subject.

I'm looking forward to returning to Florida each winter and capturing these marvellous creatures.
